As the world and humanity gets more and more shaken up by the filtering process we are experiencing that we call 'the Armageddon,' there will be a natural human reaction to qualify how it affects us. This qualifying will in some cases have its home in the term 'innocence', and other such-like expressions. Generally speaking, when someone who has led a good life is murdered or run down randomly on the street, he or she is called innocent to the crime. An earthquake or tsunami happens and the news reads that thousands of innocent people were killed.

Children, also, are often referred to as innocent, and even more so when they are treated cruelly or caught in an accident. Basically 'innocence' is the bedfellow of a certain type of human suffering, for many people judge circumstances of these natures by effects rather than true causes.

The dictionary gives the definition to the word 'innocence' as '.free from sin, or moral wrong.' , yet a sin is essentially an ACTION. So to be innocent is the same as saying to be free of CAUSE.

The Ancient Wisdom teaches us that action begets reaction, cause begets effect, sequence begets consequence, and religions too have their notable reflections upon this. In today's world it is now almost universally known by the Sanskrit term Karma which translates as: act, action, or performance. The Ancient Wisdom also teaches us that the whole universe operates by this law and that we are intrinsically an evolutionary product of that law. It teaches us also that Karma is impersonal and it works through and upon the good and bad alike irrespective of any moral codes they build their society on. As stated above, it is fairly safe to say that most people are familiar with Karma, but for the most part (except in the more philosophically or spiritually-minded) it is simply a convenient spiritual pop-phrase used to casually explain some circumstances or another, but the truth is that the world of causes is complicated and so much is hidden from the sight of the uninitiated. But people should be taught that Karma itself is neither good nor bad and that the argument of Karma should stand on the merit of its own reality as opposed to the values we place on it. This Great Law essentially teaches us that whatever we do has a consequence, yet not necessarily a moral one. Whether we think something, feel something, or act something, there is a corresponding reaction. Karmic results are subjective and are based on a cosmic principle that each individual comes to and understand and realize as part of their true sense of self.

You can of course advise a person that by the Law of Karma their actions (good or bad) will react upon themselves at some future date and one path will lead to further suffering and another will lead to further happiness (subjectively-speaking), but until people stop taking things personally then there will always be a sense of 'judgment' about Karma which can easily lead to misconception. The root of this problem is that the mind has a habit of separating itself from nature and uses intellectual reason and logic to uphold its standpoint. It often creates terms such as 'innocence' because it cannot see the beginning of all things and so applies other terms such as 'good luck', or 'bad luck' to placate troublesome existential conundrums. There will be some people who will say that God is punishing mankind for sinning. Cosmic realities reveal there is no 'punishment', just plain old cause and effect. Kiran:Actually our plan was to have some project in java or something and we want the project to be done by some professionals who do the projects for engineers. But when we Submitted the abstract f the project to our respected HOD he rejected it and give us the Manu scripts of Hurd installer project and asked us to do that. Haa.we felt like reading some complicated Sanskrit mantra contains kernel grub bla bla.since we were newbie’s to linux that time we were really frightened seeing that horrible description about the project. Our HOD got this project from Mr.Philip charles the debian hurd cd' maintainer.

HOD gave the project to us with no mercy. Three project groups were joined together constituting 16 people. Actually we were unaware about the scope and reliability of open source project. Our aim is to just to make a sense to teachers that “we did try much but couldn’t.”.

We have two highly talented teachers in our college. Badharudheen and Raghesh (the one Who assisted me for freed.in). They already had done an installer for a red hat based machine and we could get the initial ignition about the preparation on installer from them. The hurd project was completed in 6 phases.We had to find a suitable busybox for the initial ram file system. We have used custom compiled linux 2.4 kernel with initramfs support as our booting kernel.

This was a really hard step. I had to do a lot of trial and error method for doing the stuff. After we got a bootable ramdisk we designed how the ramdisk should be included in the iso9660 filesystem. We have used syslinux as the boot loader for the mini linux system.The shell script is placed inside this mini file system. Our aim was to build an installer for Debian Hurd.

Debian Hurd uses basegnu.tgz.The installer unzip this tar ball into the partitioned disk space and do necessary configuration in fstab, and completely automates the configuration of Hurd upto X. Previously the installation of Hurd was a weird process. In this the grub configuration was the hardest.

Hurd LX installer completely automated the grub configuration. After finishing the installer for Debian Hurd we have released the code and the installer in a function held at calicut. Till that time Hurd mailing list was completely dead. After the release of our installer we have got several compliments from debian hurd maniacs all over the world. Marcus Brinkman, one of the developer of the Hurd mailed me and asked to port the installer into debian installer. After that RMS himself mailed me asking the need of installer for GNU HURD uses GNU.tgz as tarball. We have coded the installer for GNU too.
