@phonehacker, your advice is good and correct, however please extend it to advise the user that he will lose all his data from his phone, and warn him he should do a backup of his contacts, Calendar and notes! Also the reset (which it is and not a 'format') will not affect the E or F drives of the phone, which it appears is the location of the problem, working on the assumption that the music is stored on a memory card as apposed to the phones C drive which is reset using the code *#7370#.I would suggest formatting (wiping clean) the location where the corrupt files are, as corrupt sd files can cause these errors. I'm not correcting your advice simply saying it should be expanded as if a new user were to follow it they could end up with a phone with no basic contact data and no way to find /restore it from! The reason I always suggest a limited backup of Contacts, Calendar and Notes is because if you do a full backup of everything with either PC Suite/Ovi Suite the restore can also restore the cause of the issue! @ishmam: ur problem is it with the memory card.? It sounds like one. Above suggestions of resettin wrk if u hv corrupted files in phone memory.

If ur memory card has corrupted files tht r not deletin, thr's another method aprt frm formattin the card. Do the following: Connect ur mobile to a pc in mass storage mode Open my computer frm desktop and locate ur phone's memory card.

Goto properties of ur card Goto tools Select scan and fix Ok After scannin is complete, u shud be able to delete ur corrupted alien files. After u r done wd deletin and editing, choose to show hidden files from ur control pannel Open the root directory of ur memory card U shud find a hidden folder with name FOLDER.000 Delete it.

U can check the size of the folder before deletin to knw hw much corrupted data u r losing. Hope this helps.
