Hi everyone, I'm thinking of purchasing a NAS to store my iTunes library, as well as photos, videos and other data. My question is, if I am on my PC/MacBook and I download a file to the NAS, will the file go: Router >NAS, or will it go Router >PC/MacBook >NAS? This isn't a decision-breaking issue, however, I am curious to know because my MacBook manages my iTunes library (podcast downloads, etc) and it is sometimes connected to the network only via WiFi. I want to know if there is any 'double-handling' of the data, in case I need to keep my MacBook connected via ethernet when downloading stuff. Thoughts would be much appreciated.
