DarthDiggler Kiam99 Yes it defiantly was p2w without a doubt, which was greedy as hell of EA! I agree with everyone in your last comment except this item. First off, Battlefront 2 never was a game where you could simply pay a fee and be guaranteed a win. Saying BF2 is Pay2Win completely ignores the fact that DICE has over 15 years of balancing shooter games. They wrote the book on some of that balance too. If the Microtransactions were enabled and someone bought up enough boxes to make their choice Star Cards all level 4, that would affect how that player is treated in regards to matchmaking.
Most of the upgrade paths make cooldown times better, but better cooldown times doesn't ultimately mean you have an advantage as the opportunity to use that ability counts more than how often you can use it. Star Cards' descriptions themselves may not be verbose in regards to the enhancements they bring none of them seem to mention anything negative.
The better thermal detonator increases the area of effect, but doesn't mention how the damage is spread over that area of effect. Some games split the damage over multiple targets in the area of effect, some will diminish the damage from the center to the outer 'rings'. How does Battlefront 2 do this?
I bet DICE is not publishing that information about the Star Cards because they want the freedom to tinker with those things and not have the community go nuts every time they make changes to people's favorite powers. How To Install Tomtom 7 On Windows Ce. Granted I freely admit this is my speculation, but I am just trying to put myself in DICE's shoes and play Arm Chair Developer. I am not just yelling Pay2Win about game mechanics that I am not 100% privy to. DarthDiggler This review is pure stupidity. Microtransactions are not enabled. Progression has been quite robust for people who actually play.
This article started suggesting it was going to wipe the slate clean but it did no such thing. You give this game a 7 but the words read like a 5 or 6. This is a DICE game and DICE always balances their games. Everyone crying about Pay2Win when that is impossible. It took a whopping week and a half to unlock all the heroes and villains so the complaints that progression is slow is LAUGHABLE.
